Charity Auction
The HTU Department for Exchange Students organises a Charity Auction at the beginning of the winter semester. It is a great opportunity to connect with the local and international student community, try new activities, and raise money for important student-focused causes in Graz.

Throughout the auction, we showcase a catalogue of fun activities, services, and handcrafted items donated by our student community on our Instagram page.
If an offer catches your eye, you can pledge a donation in the comments. The person who pledges the highest amount claims the experience. Absolutely all funds go directly to our chosen charities.
Who We Support
All selected charities hold the Austrian Seal of Quality for Donations (Österreichisches Spendengütesiegel) or come from thoroughly verified sources.

Share Your Talents
To make this project a success, we need students willing to offer their time, knowledge, or creations. Everyone has something valuable to share, whether you are a local resident or an incoming Erasmus student. You do not need a highly specialised skill to participate.
Inspiration for Your Offer
We welcome all kinds of creative ideas. Here are a few examples to spark your imagination:
- Local Experiences: A hike up Schöckl, a tour of the best student spots in Graz, or a café and pub crawl.
- Academics: Help preparing for an exam in a course you have completed, introductory coding tips, or casual language exchange.
- Skills & Hobbies: Teaching chess basics, hosting a board game or D&D session, or doing a photoshoot.
- Sports & Wellbeing: A bouldering session or showing someone beginner exercises at the gym.
- Crafts & Creations: A small piece of artwork, a custom design, or homemade biscuits.
- Shared Time: A walk through Stadtpark, visiting a local museum together, or a chat about a topic you are passionate about.
Material Costs Covered
If your offer involves physical items that require supplies (such as baking ingredients, canvas, or crafting materials), HTU will cover these expenses. Please discuss your budget with us beforehand for approval.
