Event Registration

Event Registration

We organise a wide range of events, trips, and social activities throughout the semester. All event registrations and tickets are managed digitally through Kide.app.

Non-Profit Events & ESNcard Requirement

ESN Graz is run entirely by student volunteers. We do not profit from our events; every ticket sold is subsidised at our own expense to keep activities as affordable as possible.

Due to legal regulations and insurance requirements, you must hold an active ESNcard to purchase tickets for our paid events and trips. If you do not have one yet, please check our ESNcard Guide on how to get yours.

No ESNcard yet? You are still very welcome to join our open, free events, such as our weekly Regular’s Table or park meetups!

How to Join Our Events
  1. Get an Active ESNcard:

Make sure you have an active membership. If you need to buy or activate your card, follow the steps on our ESNcard page.

  2. Browse Upcoming Events:

Check our schedule directly on Kide.app, or follow our announcements on Instagram and WhatsApp.

  3. Purchase Your Ticket:

Select your event on Kide.app, choose your ticket type, and fill in any requested event details (such as dietary requirements or allergies).

  4. Show Up & Have Fun:

Have your digital ticket on Kide.app ready to be scanned at the meeting point.

Event FAQs:

If you can no longer attend an event after purchasing a ticket, please review our refund options:

1. Reselling & Transferring (Primary Option)

The quickest way to get your money back is to transfer your ticket directly to another exchange student via Kide.app.

  • Process: Use the transfer feature inside Kide.app to send the ticket to another student (the recipient must also hold an active ESNcard).
  • Trade Channel: You can find buyers in our official Event Ticket Trade Chat in our WhatsApp community.
  • Fixed Preferences: If an event required specific options (such as meal choices or clothing sizes) and the deadline has passed, these cannot be altered. The buyer takes over the ticket as configured.

2. In-Person Office Refunds

If you cannot resell your ticket, you may request a refund in person during our official Office Hours at least 7 days before the event. We cannot process refund requests sent via email or social media.

3. Exceptional Emergencies

In unavoidable emergencies (such as sudden illness or accidents), we assess refunds individually. Please try to resell your ticket or visit us during office hours before contacting us.

Please note: The Kide.app service fee (€0.55 to €0.95) is collected by the platform and cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

We do not operate a waiting list. If an event is sold out, keep an eye on the “Event Ticket Trade” chat in our WhatsApp community, where students resell tickets if plans change. We also announce exact ticket release times in advance on Instagram and WhatsApp so you can plan ahead.

Guests are welcome at our open, free events (like the weekly Regular’s Table or park meetups). Paid ticketed events remain strictly limited to active ESNcard holders due to legal and insurance requirements.

Meeting spots and basic itineraries are listed in the event descriptions on Kide.app and Instagram. For larger trips, we create a temporary dedicated group chat in our WhatsApp community to share live schedules and updates.

For events that include food or drinks, a questionnaire will appear directly during the Kide.app checkout process.

Not at all! English is our main working language. Our entire team speaks English, and all events, trips, and presentations are run in English.

If bad weather or unforeseen circumstances require changes, we post immediate updates on our Instagram stories and in our WhatsApp community.
