We are a team of student volunteers who organise events, trips, and support services for exchange students in Graz. If you want to meet people from all over the world, help out behind the scenes, or practice a language, we would love to have you on board!

Ways to Get Involved

Every active ESN Graz volunteer contributes to our shared section responsibilities alongside their specific team tasks.

Core Shared Areas
  • Event Organisation: Planning and running social activities, cultural events, and trips (all non-board members assist with at least 2 events per semester).
  • Office Hours & Administration: Assisting international students directly with memberships and inquiries (all non-board members help with at least 3 office hours per semester).
Specialised Areas
  • Special Regular’s Table: Planning fun activities and themes for our weekly social gatherings.
  • Human Resources & Community: Focusing on onboarding new members, internal team-bonding, and section culture.
  • Communication: Answering incoming student messages via social media and email.
  • Social Media & Graphic Design: Creating visual content and managing our online channels.
  • Partnerships: Setting up and maintaining partner discounts that benefit exchange students and our section.
  • IT: Maintaining our website and internal digital tools.
  • Buddy Programme: Maintaining buddy system, organising Buddy-events.
  • Pick-Up Service: Coordinating arrival pickup support for incoming students.
  • Photography: Photographing our events and trips.

  2. Attend an Onboarding Session: We will get in touch with you about our next onboarding meeting. We host a few of these group sessions each semester to introduce new members to the team and explain how we work.
  3. Get a Feel For It: Drop by during office hours or tag along to an event to see how we run things behind the scenes.
  4. Jump In: Start taking on tasks and projects that match your schedule and interests. Welcome to the team!
