Beyond our standard trips and parties, we organise several recurring events each semester to help you settle in, support good causes, and celebrate your time in Graz.
Visa Trip to Ljubljana
Every semester, we organise a trip to Ljubljana for international students who need to visit the Austrian embassy to process their visas or residence permits. While the trip is structured around the embassy appointment, it is also a fun city trip. We plan activities in the city, meaning you can join the trip even if you do not need to visit the embassy.
Students who require an embassy appointment receive priority registration for this trip.
Important Visa Disclaimer
ESN Graz volunteers are not legal advisors. We can accompany you to the embassy and organise the transport, but we cannot assist with your legal situation or paperwork. Please direct all questions regarding visa requirements and documents to the International Office at your host university.
Regular’s Table (Stammtisch)
Our Regular’s Table happens every Wednesday. It is a relaxed evening where you can meet other exchange students, chat with local ESN members, and enjoy a drink. Throughout the semester, we also host special themed evenings with quizzes or games.
Find the current locations and schedule on our Regular’s Table page.
Day Trips
We often organise day trips to famous Austrian destinations like Hallstatt and Vienna, as well as to nearby cities in neighbouring countries. The exact destinations vary from semester to semester.
One of our favourite recurring trips is a visit to the famous Zotter chocolate factory, followed by a relaxing afternoon at a local thermal bath.
Farewell Party
At the end of every semester, we gather one last time to say goodbye. Depending on the weather and the semester, this might be a big night out at Monkey Club or a relaxed afternoon gathering in the park. We will announce the exact details near the end of your mobility period.
Charity Auction
Starting in 2026, we are introducing a charity auction. Students and university staff offer fun skills, services, or experiences that you can bid on. Whether it is learning a new recipe or getting a guided local tour, it is a great way to try something new.
All money raised goes directly to charity. Read more about how it works and the causes we support on our Charity Auction page.
