Pickup Service for Arriving TU Graz Students
Welcome to Graz! ESN Graz offers a voluntary pickup service to help incoming exchange students at TU Graz (Graz University of Technology) reach their accommodation smoothly upon arrival.
Not a TU Graz Student?
This service is exclusively for students attending TU Graz. If you are studying at one of the following institutions, please liaise with your assigned buddy through the ESN Buddy Programme or contact your university International Office:
- University of Graz (Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz)
- University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (KUG)
- Medical University of Graz (Med Uni Graz)
- FH Joanneum (University of Applied Sciences)
- Campus 02 (University of Applied Sciences)
Important Information Before You Apply
- 8 Days Advance Notice: Please submit your request at least 8 days before your arrival. Our team consists of student volunteers, so we need time to match you with an available buddy.
- Individual Requests: Every student in a travelling group must submit their own separate request form.
- Accommodation Keys: If you stay in an ÖAD dormitory, volunteers cannot collect keys on your behalf before your booked start date. If your accommodation uses a key box, ensure you inform your landlord or dorm manager in advance and note it on your request form.
- Cash Deposits: If your accommodation requires a key deposit in cash upon arrival, please make sure you carry the exact amount with you.
Confirmation & What Happens Next
Once a volunteer buddy is assigned to your pickup, we will send you a confirmation email (usually around 3 days before your arrival date). If your travel plans change, please notify us immediately by replying to that email.
